Job Summary
Independent Contractor – Response Division deployable on an on-call basis within 24–72 hours for activations, remaining on-site for 30+ days. Responsibilities include translating emergency management regulations into actionable operational strategies, developing incident deliverables (SITREPs, operational work plans), acting as liaison between external partners and leadership, creating incident action plans, and supporting EOC/JFO operations; qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher (or six years of relevant experience), NIMS/ICS training, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; compensation ranges from $30–$70/hr depending on factors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university and at least three (3) years of professional experience, or a total of at least six (6) years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s operational tempo
