Job Summary
Independent Contractor for Hagerty Consulting’s Recovery Division focuses on supporting emergency management recovery projects, providing FEMA PA/IA policy expertise, facilitating client meetings, producing reports, maintaining internal documents, and tracking project milestones. Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher (or six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree), at least one year of PA/IA policy experience, strong project management, teamwork, and advanced MS Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher OR total of at least six (6) years in a relevant field as substitute for degree
- At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or Individual Assistance (IA) policies
- General project management principles
- Strong critical thinking abilities to analyze complex situations and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders and internal staff
- Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
