Job Summary
Independent Contractor - Recovery Division will provide consultative support on recovery projects, applying FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or Individual Assistance (IA) policy expertise; responsibilities include facilitating client meetings, generating reports, maintaining internal documents, and tracking project milestones while coordinating with leadership and external stakeholders. Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher (or 6+ years of relevant experience), at least 1 year of PA/IA policy experience, strong critical thinking, collaboration skills, and expert Microsoft Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- At least three (3) years of experience in a relevant field, or six (6) years of experience in a relevant field in lieu of a degree
- At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience working with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or Individual Assistance (IA) policies
- Strong critical thinking abilities
- Team player with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
