Job Summary
Independent Category Manager leads beverage/CPG growth in the Independent Channel, planning and executing shelf-set schematics to optimize performance in high-volume independent retail. Responsible for activating and monitoring the SESS space platform across major independent partners, analyzing data (VIP/Circana/Nielsen), developing category strategies, building retailer relationships, defining call frequency, and enabling field sales with space-survey training. Requires strong experience in off-premise retail sales, data analysis (Excel), and cross-functional collaboration; travel to client accounts and supplier meetings is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- NYSLA Solicitor’s Permit
