Job Summary
Independent Working Chef at Leonardo Hotel Papendrecht. You will work with fresh, local ingredients, talk passionately about products and preparation methods, and contribute creatively to improving our offerings. The role supports both part-time and full-time arrangements and requires hospitality mindset, hands-on execution, and team collaboration. You should have a chef's degree or equivalent experience (2+ years in a similar role), HACCP knowledge, and be able to communicate in Dutch and English (additional languages a plus). Weekend and holiday flexibility, own transport, and residence near Papendrecht are expected. Salary is provided per month with travel allowance if living more than 10 kilometers away; opportunities for training, development, and employee perks are included.
Required Qualifications
- chef's degree or equivalent experience
- at least 2 years in a similar position
- experience in manning multiple parties
- knowledge of HACCP
- fluent Dutch and English (French, German, or Spanish a plus)
- own transportation
- live in (near) Papendrecht
