Job Summary
Lead Designer – General Civil responsible for design and drafting of general civil works for Power plant, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas sectors, including site development, earthworks, roads, paving, drainage, fencing and manholes. Leads a civil design team delivering 2D drawings and 3D modelling using AutoCAD and AVEVA/E3D/S3D/PDMS; develops general civil design database and supports conceptual, pre-FEED and FEED for future projects. Collaborates with Hanwha Ocean engineering teams across Korea and other locations. Role may require frequent travel to the US, Europe, and Asia.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum ITI/ Draftsmanship/ Diploma in engineering (preferably Civil)
- Minimum 15 years’ total experience with 10 years’ experience in Power Plant/Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industry EPC/ EPCI contractor
- Worked as Lead Designer – General Civil preferably in 1 Power Plant/Petrochemical/Oil & Gas project
- Familiarity with general civil engineering concepts: site development, earthworks, roads, paving, drainage, fencing, manhole
- Proficient with AutoCAD, AVEVA / E3D/ S3D/ PDMS
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in English; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams & offices, clients & vendors
- Planning, scheduling, resource management, and supervision of design tasks
- Willingness to travel as required
