Job Summary
Lead a travel operations team of consultants, coach and develop members to meet performance targets; manage KPIs, workload, provide direction, respond to queries; ensure GDS knowledge, compliance with DOT/TSA/policies; monitor GDS queues, onboard new hires, create learning programs, review processes, use performance data to improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive GDS knowledge with travel operations leadership experience
- Proven team management/leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge in travel voice processes, emails, and chat teams
- Working knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a 24/7 contact center (BPO) environment
- Ability to provide coaching and development for team to meet performance targets
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., DOT, TSA, passports, visas) and ability to relay updated information to team
- Experience monitoring performance data and driving process improvements
- Onboarding and certification processes for new hires
