IT Auditor / IS Auditor role in Mumbai responsible for evaluating the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of the organization’s IT controls to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of information systems. Key responsibilities include developing and executing risk-based audit programs for IT infrastructure, applications, and processes (ITGCs, application controls, cybersecurity); testing logical access, change management, data backup/recovery, BCP, and network security; assessing IT general controls across platforms; preparing audit reports and communicating findings to stakeholders; and advising on designing internal controls for new systems while staying updated on emerging technologies. Required technical skills include IT audit methodology, cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, penetration testing concepts, data analysis with audit tools, and knowledge of IT governance and control frameworks.
