Incoming Inspector-Quality Technician

Job Summary
Conduct incoming inspections by performing visual, dimensional, and functional checks using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools to verify raw materials and components meet engineering specifications. Review and interpret engineering drawings, purchase orders, and work instructions, then accurately document inspection results, measurements, and quality issues in designated systems. Identify non-conforming material and generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to support corrective actions, while collaborating with the Supplier Quality Engineer to release accepted materials with proper traceability. Full-time Monday through Thursday 10-hour shift with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency using inspection and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. in a manufacturing environment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
