Job Summary
Oversee the daily audit process across all properties by reviewing financial activity in Book4Time, Opera, Symphony, Shift4, Heartland, GiftUp, Jonas Chorum, Silverware, and Stripe. Complete daily income audits by analyzing revenue, payments, adjustments, refunds, and deposits to ensure accuracy. Reconcile data across multiple systems, investigate discrepancies, and validate hotel reports while processing billing for the Bar Harbor Laundry Company. Utilize advanced Excel skills to audit imported data and maintain interconnected spreadsheets. Collaborate with department managers and property leaders to resolve issues and support accurate reporting. Full-time, year-round role with Monday through Friday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large datasets, complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and interconnected spreadsheets
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and resolve issues independently
- Ability to reconcile financial data across multiple systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with Sage 50, or similar accounting software
- Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software platforms and adapting to new systems and processes
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various leaders
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, honesty, and integrity while handling confidential payroll and employee information
