Job Summary
Inclusion Program Instructor responsible for researching, developing, and delivering adapted recreation programs for participants with disabilities, planning weekly program activities, leading specialized programming, acting as point of contact for parents/guardians, maintaining confidential records, coordinating with staff, guiding behavioral management, coordinating with supervisors, ensuring proper facility setup and safety checks, and responding to emergencies (including basic first aid and crisis intervention). Certifications in First Aid/CPR-C, High Five, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or equivalent are required prior to commencement; availability to work evenings and weekends; Police Vulnerable Sector Check required; municipal certification renewals may be needed. Primary location: Youth Centre - Newmarket, ON.
