Job Summary
Incident Support Unit Operative responsible for highway safety and maintenance tasks, including safety patrols, responding to incidents, pothole and boundary fence repairs, winter maintenance, debris clearance, drainage inspection, and installation/removal of Emergency Traffic Management. Ideal candidates hold CSCS/FISS, HGV licence, City and Guilds Winter maintenance, and TTMBC qualifications, with a focus on safety, timely incident response, and coordination with Network Control Centre. Shift pattern includes 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts in a 4-on/4-off cycle; driving licence required; DBS check and equal opportunities commitment noted.
Required Qualifications
- Green CSCS FISS (or above) qualification card
- HGV category C licence (or working towards)
- City and Guilds Winter maintenance qualification (or working towards)
- Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course (TTMBC) qualification (or working towards)
