Job Summary
Investigate incidents and accidents across the agency, ensuring confidential, thorough written reports and timely documentation; develop plans to prevent and manage incidents; interface with regulators and law enforcement; organize and manage investigation caseloads; file corrective action plans with state regulatory agencies; collaborate with department staff and regulatory bodies; present cases to committees and leadership; maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and practices to improve investigative processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Associates/Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- 3 years' experience at the managerial level in either residential or day support services or in an investigation field is required.
- Excellent administrative skills and knowledge of regulations and investigation techniques.
- Ability to support our internal customers by analyzing data to identify patterns and trends, best practices and aid in operationalizing this information.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong writing, communication and analytical skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency standards and reliable transportation.
