Job Summary
Lead complex, high-impact security incidents such as ransomware, account compromise, and data breaches by establishing structure, prioritizing actions, and communicating status to clients. Facilitate onboarding for new organizations during critical moments, building trust and demonstrating the value of the Incident Response approach. Develop the IR service by contributing to team processes, tooling, playbooks, and readiness assessments while translating practical experience into a scalable market proposition. Coach analysts and consultants on crisis management, communication, and decision-making. Share knowledge internally and externally through sessions, client conversations, and events to reinforce Wortell's position as a serious IR partner. Requires minimum 8 years in cybersecurity with multiple years in incident response, deep Microsoft Security expertise, and availability for irregular hours and urgent on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimaal 8 jaar ervaring binnen cybersecurity
- Meerdere jaren ervaring in incident response, security operations of digital forensics
- Aantoonbare ervaring met het leiden van complexe security-incidenten, crisissituaties en technische besluitvorming onder druk
- Diepgaande kennis van Microsoft Security-oplossingen zoals Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID en Purview
- Bereidheid om bij urgente incidenten buiten kantooruren beschikbaar te zijn
Desired Qualifications
- Certificeringen zoals GCIH, GCFA, GREM of vergelijkbaar
