Incident Commander

Job Summary
Incident Commander to manage the Technology Support Teams to rapidly resolve outages, determine outage solutions, escalate as needed, coordinate SMEs, track and document incident timelines, and participate in post-incident reviews. Responsible for leading major incident discussions, ensuring timely communication to senior management and stakeholders, and maintaining runbooks, processes, and monthly metrics related to system uptime and stability. Requires 5-8 years of service-management experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; must be able to work a 24x7 on-call rotation in a hybrid Atlanta, GA environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
- 5-8 years of working experience in performing service management activities
- Experience with Incident Management processes and outage resolution
- Ability to multi-task, lead teams, and make effective decisions under pressure
- Willingness to work 24x7x365 on-call rotation
