Job Summary
Inbound Telesales Representative handles a high-volume mix of incoming calls and live chat to place orders, answer product inquiries, and assist with related issues. Responsibilities include cross-selling and upselling, communicating promotions and manufacturer specials, addressing pricing issues or back orders, and routing complex calls to management for pricing overrides. The role requires staying current on product knowledge, sales practices, and industry trends, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve problems (returns, reorders, credits). The position is hybrid and based at a satellite office in Grapevine, TX. Skills include strong selling/negotiation abilities, Spanish language capability preferred, proficiency with systems such as AS-400, Salesforce, Siebel, and Workday, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy in customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Strong selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle high volume of incoming calls and live chat inquiries
- Ability to learn computer systems (AS-400, Salesforce, Siebel, Workday)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
