Job Summary
Receive incoming shipments and perform inbound product inspections to ensure accuracy against grower and Mastronardi Produce specifications. Conduct quality audits using computerized check-sheets to evaluate color, size, condition, and weight, while verifying traceability and organic labeling compliance. Report product quality issues, non-conformance findings, and re-class information to supervisors and distribution lists immediately. Complete audit reports and Non-Conformance Reports during and at the end of each shift. Work night shifts (6:00 PM–5:30 AM) in a refrigerated warehouse environment, supporting SQF certification efforts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High School degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in the use of the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High performance team player
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass Background Check
- Must be able to work in our refrigerated warehouse with 50° F temperature-controlled zones
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodation
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and crawl on a regular basis
