Job Summary
Ensure inbound departments meet safety, quality, and productivity standards by receiving, stocking, and supporting inbound operations. Drive stand-up, battery-powered forklifts to load or unload pallets, and utilize cherry pickers or reach trucks to move products. Monitor workload, assign daily tasks, and provide direction to team members while training new hires on inbound processes. Maintain a clean workspace, adhere to strict safety protocols, and cross-train across all inbound areas including receiver and stocker duties. Communicate via radio with supervisors and inventory control.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Desired Qualifications
- Some warehouse experience preferred
- Training, coaching and/or leading others experience preferred
