Job Summary
Manage the intake, processing, and timely resolution of inbound KYC requests from clients and counterparties, ensuring every response meets the standard. Serve as the primary point of contact for KYC inquiries, providing clear guidance on global requirements to help transactions move forward. Review and validate documentation for completeness and accuracy against AML, KYC, and international frameworks, making final calls on non-compliant items. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Carta's systems to ensure a clean audit trail. Monitor evolving global KYC/AML regulations and apply updated requirements to daily work to keep the compliance posture current. Join the Inbound Compliance team at Carta's London and Denmark locations, supporting leading asset managers and private equity firms in a high-volume, client-facing environment where accuracy and regulatory fluency are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented under pressure
- Confident and client-ready
- 1-2+ years of regulatory experience
- Working understanding of global KYC and AML frameworks
- Proactive decision-maker
- Exposure to corporate banking, a legal service provider, or a fund compliance environment
- Familiarity with offshore jurisdictions like Cayman or Luxembourg
- Ability to catch what others miss consistently
- Ability to hold one's own in KYC conversations with senior stakeholders and counterparties
- Ability to assess the situation, apply the right framework, and move forward with minimal supervision
