Job Summary
This role operates and maintains warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, tugs, pallet jacks) to control the flow of products received, ensure equipment is maintained and clean, and abide by safety and sanitation policies. Responsibilities include using equipment horns in storage and intersections, plugging equipment in when not in use, and adhering to safety rules while supporting efficient warehouse operations. The position requires 2 years of warehouse experience, ergonomic testing, proficiency with warehouse equipment and numerical data, strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and the ability to perform basic calculations. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Pass mandatory ergonomics testing
- Professional Skills Working knowledge of Sysco safety and security policies, equipment associated with warehouse activities and the operation of the equipment
- Demonstrated ability to disseminate numerical data
- Manage work time efficiently
- Follow procedures and policies
