Job Summary
Provide in-work support and coaching to participants who have moved into employment, helping them overcome barriers to sustain work and progress in their careers. Work with participants one-to-one and in groups using coaching techniques, draw on local specialist services, build relationships with JobCentre Plus and employers to resolve workplace challenges, assist with job-search and interview preparation, co-produce in-work support plans, and maintain compliant records. Focus on wellbeing, disability barriers, and ongoing progression within employment while contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring robust evidence of placements and outcomes. Flexible to travel as needed and uphold safeguarding and data-protection policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) including Maths and English
- Experience of working with and training people with disabilities and other barriers
- Experience of working with Participants both on a one-to-one basis and in a group setting
- Desirable: Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject
- NVQ Level 3 Advice & Guidance Qualification (or equivalent) (Desirable)
- Experience of caseload management (Desirable)
- Experience of working in a target driven environment and ability to self-motivate to achieve results (Desirable)
- Setting up learning opportunities including workshops and bespoke programs of work (Desirable)
- Direct previous experience of a similar role (Desirable)
