Job Summary
In Vivo Technician responsible for performing in vivo bio-methods and animal care procedures in support of research within the Services program. Duties include IV, IP, SQ injections, cell preparation, blood collection, tissue harvests, and various housing paradigms; maintain thorough documentation and project records, ensure timely and quality results, and perform weekend/holiday observations on a rotating basis. Requires an Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience; AALAS LVT/CVT preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school
- AALAS Certifications, LVT/CVT preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in a technical or specialized field requiring extended training to perform a wide range of assignments and resolve non-standard problems
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
