Job Summary
Neuroscience expert with in vitro neural recording expertise sought to perform in vitro electrical recordings from cultured neurons using patch clamp, MEA, or calcium imaging. Hands-on experience and demonstrated ability in these techniques are essential. Familiarity with neuromodulation or neural plasticity studies using electrical stimulation is desirable, along with a solid foundation in electrical modeling of neurons (Hodgkin-Huxley models, etc.). Include a dedicated Skills section in your CV detailing in vivo (if any), in vitro, and other relevant scientific/technical competencies. PhD in neuroscience, biology, bioengineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is required. Also required are experience culturing neurons, patch clamp/MEA/calcium signal recording of cultured cells or live slices, electrical neuron modeling, and data analysis. Preferred: electrical neural stimulation, in vivo electrophysiology, optogenetics, neural plasticity with electrical stimulation, stem cells/3D cultures/organoids.
