Job Summary
In Unit Maintenance Engineer for Part Time Evening Shift responsible for completing in-unit maintenance work orders, maintaining units, and performing semi-annual preventive maintenance across 143 condominium units. Duties include servicing kitchens and appliances, thermostats and heat systems, furniture repair, bathroom fixtures, electrical fixtures, doors and locks, carpentry, inventory management, and use of online work order and inventory systems. Must adhere to safety standards, assist with purchasing and inventory, and handle occasional special projects. Requires ability to work independently, respond to multiple demands in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 50-75 pounds; outdoor and indoor tasks across multiple buildings on 5 acres with stairs and elevators. Prior maintenance or property management experience in luxury settings is preferred; tools include manual and electric power tools, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge. A flexible attitude and willingness to work additional hours when necessary are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Previous maintenance or property management in luxury hotel or residences preferred.
- Experience with electric and small hand tools such as a power saw or drill, basic understanding of plumbing, electric, appliances and carpentry.
