Job Summary
In-Store Shopping Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market responsible for shopping and fulfilling online orders in-store via the Instacart Shopper App, delivering excellent customer service by ensuring product quality and freshness, substituting out-of-stock items as needed, communicating order changes, processing transactions on the POS, and acting as an online ambassador for the store and Instacart. Role may include stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and presenting products well. Requires a 21+ age, HS diploma or equivalent, strong communication, teamwork, ability to operate front-end equipment, and physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs, and move carts during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor; positive attitude and ability to interact positively with customers
- Good communication skills; ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to maneuver a utility cart holding 20 lbs. up to 2 hours, up to 20 feet
- Ability to walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift
