Job Summary
In-Store Shopping Clerk will shop and fulfill customer online orders using the Instacart Shopper App, provide excellent customer service focusing on product quality and freshness, substitute potential out-of-stock items, communicate order changes, process transactions at the in-store POS, and act as an online ambassador for the store regarding the Instacart platform and delivery benefits. May assist with stocking shelves, filling frozen bins, and maintaining store presentation.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outgoing and friendly behavior
- Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate front end equipment (register, calculator, scanner)
- Ability to stand/walk/bend for entire shift
- Ability to maneuver a cart up to 20 lbs with force up to 35 lbs for up to 2 hours
- Ability to walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift
