Job Summary
Process sales through POS systems, prepare and close customer quotes, and assist with stock handling, dispatch, and receiving goods. Help customers select building products while maintaining store organization, safety, and presentation. Support stock control and supplier communication to meet sales targets within the team. This third-generation Sydney family business, established in 1960, offers training in product knowledge and opportunities for forklift and truck licenses. Successful applicants must complete pre-employment screening, including medical, drug and alcohol, and National Police checks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in retail, customer service, or the building trade industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Physically capable of handling stock and being on your feet
- Australian working rights
- Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, and a National Police Check
