In-Store Assembly Technician

Job Summary
Independent contractor in-store product assembler for retail displays, servicing major chains such as ACE Hardware, Cabela’s, Lowe’s, and Home Depot. Responsibilities include assembling and repairing products per manufacturer instructions while following retailer guidelines, building bikes, grills, furniture, and other requested items, coordinating with retailer management to confirm build lists and inventory, generating and completing invoices daily, and reporting to the Area Manager. Requires basic hand tools and an impact drill, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to travel within ~25 miles, internet access via mobile device, reliable transportation, and capable of standing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and lifting 50+ pounds. Must maintain a safe, clean workspace and keep displays showroom-ready; independent work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
