Job Summary
In-Sr Technical Consultant – Cloud acts as the escalation point for infrastructure operations, handling complex issues, driving root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions. Responsible for infrastructure design, optimization, and strategic initiatives, while mentoring L1/L2 teams and ensuring adherence to ITIL/operational best practices. Works with Microsoft Azure and VMware ESXi; performs deep-dive troubleshooting, RCA, and long-term fixes; leads upgrades and migrations across compute, storage, network, and cloud environments; collaborates with L3 and architecture teams on solution design; drives SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing; collaborates with security/compliance for governance and risk mitigation; engages vendors for escalations and patch management; supports capacity planning, performance benchmarking, and cost optimization; rotates shifts including nights to provide 24/7 application support; willingness to work weekends/public holidays as per schedule. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics (preferred) or equivalent diploma
- 7–10 years of experience in infrastructure support/engineering roles
- Certifications desirable (Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, CCNA, ITIL Intermediate)
