Job Summary
Senior Associate in Unsecured Risk Advisory at PwC (Pune) focused on credit card portfolio risk management. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, performance monitoring, and risk insights to support senior analysts and managers. Responsibilities include portfolio monitoring and risk analysis (tracking delinquency, roll rates, losses, utilization; trend/vintage/cohort analysis; risk dashboards/MIS), acquisition risk analysis (channel/product/segment performance, early delinquency, first-payment default trends, evaluation of approval rate vs loss trade-offs), and existing customer management (ECM) risk levers and analytics. The role also covers stakeholder communication, governance support, and risk documentation. Required skills include SQL/SAS with Python preferred, experience with large datasets, and visualization/reporting tools (Tableau/PowerPoint); strong understanding of consumer credit risk fundamentals; excellent data interpretation, structured thinking, problem-solving, and communication; ability to work across teams and adapt to regulatory environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1.5–4 years of experience in credit card risk analytics, consumer lending, or financial analytics
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative fields
- Strong working knowledge of SQL/SAS; exposure to Python preferred
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience with Tableau or PowerPoint for visualization and reporting
- Understanding of consumer credit risk fundamentals
- Ability to interpret data and explain results clearly
- Structured thinking and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and challenge basic problems
- Familiarity with data interpretation and ability to challenge decisions based on data analysis
