Job Summary
Support credit card portfolio risk management through data-driven analysis, performance monitoring, and risk insights. Assist senior analysts and managers in portfolio monitoring, acquisition risk analysis, credit policy evaluation, and model performance tracking, with increasing ownership over analytical modules. Responsibilities include tracking delinquency, roll rates, losses, and utilization; performing trend, vintage, and cohort analyses; supporting risk dashboards and MIS; evaluating acquisition strategies and balance between growth and risk; monitoring early delinquency trends; contributing to policy updates and champion–challenger analyses; documenting policy rationale and analytical findings; and assisting in ECM risk management, including segmentation, monitoring of risk levers, and evaluation of risk-based strategies. Strong emphasis on SQL/SAS, data interpretation, visualization (Tableau/PowerPoint), and clear communication to senior stakeholders, with a focus on governance, compliance, and cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 1.5–4 years of experience in credit card risk analytics, consumer lending, or financial analytics
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative fields
- Strong working knowledge of SQL/SAS; exposure to Python preferred
- Experience with large datasets
- Experience with Tableau or PowerPoint for visualization and reporting
- Understanding of consumer credit risk fundamentals
- Structured thinking and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data and communicate results clearly
- Willingness to learn and take ownership
- Ability to collaborate across teams
- Good written and verbal communication
