Job Summary
Configure and manage SAP Ariba Upstream modules, including sourcing templates, contract lifecycle management, and supplier performance workflows. Lead workshops to translate business logic into operational system designs, then create test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional troubleshooting for user lifecycle issues, monitor master data replication errors, and deliver strategic executive-level reports. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to map processes, optimize configurations, and manage ERP integrations between Ariba and SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on functional experience with SAP Ariba implementations or application management support (AMS)
- Minimum of 1–2 end-to-end lifecycle implementations of Ariba Upstream modules
- Deep expertise in Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, and SLP
- Strong foundation in core SAP Material Management (MM) concepts like purchasing and vendor master data
- Practical experience managing integration flows and resolving payload errors via SAP CIG
- Strong client-facing skills to bridge communication between IT and business users
- Adaptability to work in Agile or DevOps-led team frameworks
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Official SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Ariba Sourcing/Contracts/SLP designation
- Exposure to Ariba Downstream modules (Guided Buying, Invoicing)
- 4 years of experience
- B.Tech/M.Tech
- Bachelor of Engineering
