Job Summary
Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and debugging custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces (RFCs), and forms (SmartForms, SAPscript); implementing enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and workflows; optimizing performance; providing operational support and troubleshooting production issues; collaborating with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs; performing unit testing and coordinating SIT/UAT; creating and maintaining technical documentation; participating in code reviews and adhering to SAP standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in ABAP programming and ABAP Objects (OO ABAP)
- Understanding of SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM) and SAP architecture
- Experience with SAPGUI, Debugger, ABAP Workbench, SE38, SE80
- Knowledge of data dictionary and performance optimization
- Familiarity with SAP transport management (TMS) and OSS notes
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Mandatory skill sets: ITGC
- Years of experience: 4 to 8
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech)
- Preferred: MBA (Master of Business Administration)
