Job Summary
Senior-level ITGC-focused advisory role in PwC's risk and compliance practice. Responsible for performing ITGC audits, IT internal audits, ERP control reviews (SAP, Oracle), IT application controls testing, IT SOX testing, IT compliance assessments (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST), and related risk assessments. Lead and independently execute IT audits across client environments, including scoping, risk & control matrix finalization, data requirements, walkthroughs, design and operating effectiveness testing, and drafting/ presenting observations with actionable remediation timelines. Requires strong understanding of IT general controls (change management, access management, operations, disaster recovery) and ERP controls, ability to manage stakeholder communications at senior levels, and prior Big 4/consulting experience. Education: BE/BTech/CA (Intermediate) with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience; CIA/CISA/CISM is a plus. The role involves guiding a team of 2-3 specialists, delivering high-quality IT risk assurance engagements, and demonstrating strong coordination, analytics, and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- BE/ BTech/ CA (Intermediate)
- Postgraduate in any stream preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience in IT Risk Assurance / IT Internal Audit / ITGC / ERP (SAP, Oracle) Reviews
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (Change Management, User Access Management, IT Operations, BCP/DR)
- Understanding of IT Application controls for ERP (Input/Output, Processing, Interface)
- Understanding of IT SOX Control Testing and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) Testing
- Understanding of third-party risk management reviews
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST frameworks
- Ability to lead a team of 2-3 specialists/associates and independently carry out IT audits/assessments
- Excellent communication and presentations at senior management levels
- CIA/CISA/CISM as added advantage
- Mandatory skills: ITGC; Preferred: ITGC tools and analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
- Prior Big 4/consulting/internal audit experience could be advantageous
