Senior Associate in Financial Services – Direct Tax (FPIs) at PwC, based in Gandhinagar, India. Responsibilities include assisting in advisory and compliance engagements across tax/regulatory frameworks (Income-tax, SEBI regulations, FEMA, Companies Act, NBFC, banking, insurance, AIFs, REITs/InvITs, and related laws), managing routine compliances (TDS returns, annual tax filings, regulatory submissions), preparing submissions/appeals for tax authorities (DRP, CIT(A), ITAT, AAR), interpreting international tax treaties and overseas tax regulations, coordinating approvals and licenses, assisting in execution and review of client engagements, building client rapport, and updating stakeholders on progress. Mandatory skills include strong knowledge of Income-tax laws and regulatory frameworks, analytical ability, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of financial markets. Preferred skills include exposure to Transfer Pricing and GST developments, interpersonal and stakeholder management, and proficiency with MS Office, report writing, and presentations. Minimum 3 years of experience; Chartered Accountant/LLB/CS qualifications expected; certifications may be preferred.
