Job Summary
Design and implement Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Engineering solutions within Microsoft Fabric, including scalable end-to-end data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory. Utilize PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL for data transformation, while applying Medallion Architecture to ensure data quality. Implement real-time streaming data ingestion via Fabric Real-Time Hub and manage data governance and security principles. Requires 4–6 years of experience in data engineering with certifications in Microsoft Fabric.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years in data engineering, data warehousing, or analytics engineering
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700)
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Data Warehouse
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Strong Python (PySpark/Pandas/Polars) and SQL skills
- Expert in dimensional modeling (Star Schema) and DAX for semantic models
- Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines and workspace deployment pipelines
- B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, MCA
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Master of Business Administration
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700) is highly preferred, replacing the older DP-203
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Data Warehouse
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Strong Python (PySpark/Pandas/Polars) and SQL skills
