Job Summary
Senior Associate in AI ML Digital Integration Advisory based in Kolkata. Responsibilities include designing, writing, and testing custom IDE rules and local automation scripts to enforce security best practices in real-time; integrating security into pipelines (GHAS, CodeQL, Dependabot) and enhancing developer experience by reducing noise and false positives; documenting guides for engineering teams. Requires hands-on software development (3+ years) with Python/TypeScript/Go, strong tooling and IDE ecosystem knowledge, GitHub Actions and security tooling expertise, SAST/SCA understanding, AI coding tool experience (GitHub Copilot, Cursor), and proficiency in portable scripting (Python, Shell). Education: Bachelor's in Engineering. Location: Kolkata, India.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development experience (Python, TypeScript, or Go preferred)
- Developer Tooling Expertise with modern IDEs (VS Code, Cursor) and their configuration ecosystems (settings.json, extensions, rules files)
- CI/CD & DevOps experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Dependabot)
- Security mindset with knowledge of SAST and SCA (Dependabot, OSV)
- AI coding proficiency with tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor
- Scripting proficiency in Python and Shell for local automation
- Strong problem-solving ability to create lightweight solutions for local machines
- Experience implementing AI thinking in development lifecycles
- Experience with AI tools (AI/Cursor, Copilot)
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering; Field of Study specified: Engineering
- Mandatory skills include AI/Cursor, GitHub Copilot; preferred: AI/Cursor, Copilot
- Years of experience required: 3-7
