Job Summary
Supervise in-school suspensions and manage student behavior incidents in accordance with district policy. Work closely with teachers and staff members to handle unforeseen situations and accept individual differences among children. Take initiative on the job while maintaining a collaborative environment with others. This 185-day contract begins as soon as possible with compensation based on the Spartanburg School District Six Salary Schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 60 college credits
- ParaPro test
- Ability to work well with others
- Willingness to work with teachers and staff members
- Ability to handle unforeseen situations in accordance with district policy
- Ability to take initiative on the job
- Ability to accept individual differences among children
