Job Summary
In-School Suspension Facilitator at Riverside Middle School, supervising students in a behavior management program, coordinating communication with parents, providing class work and planning room activities, maintaining discipline and a strict but fair environment, performing clerical/data-entry tasks, and ensuring proper use of ethical computer and lab practices; requires CDL with P/S endorsements or eligibility, associate degree related to education or 48 transferable college hours, and 10-month employment with 35 hours/week. Reports to Principal or Lead Teacher; duties include monitoring student progress and collaborating with teachers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree related to Education or 48 semester hours of transferable college coursework
- Experience using non-confrontational behavior intervention strategies
- Experience with computer troubleshooting
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or willingness and eligibility to obtain such a license at the next training opportunity
- Official transcript required to validate education
