In-School Suspension Coordinator

Coordinate and supervise students assigned to the In-School Suspension program at Red Springs High School for a 10-month school year. Responsibilities include taking daily attendance, reviewing and enforcing in-school suspension policies, supporting behavior management and student reflection, providing instructional assistance as appropriate, ensuring escorts to facilities, coordinating with teachers for work requests, completing Work Completion Logs, arranging provision of student lunches, and referring behavior problems to Assistant Principals. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, computer literacy, experience with school-age children, and the ability to remain composed and act on volatile situations; strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of conflict resolution are encouraged.
