Job Summary
Conduct instructional and behavioral activities for students referred by the principal or assistant principal for in-school suspension. Manage daily supervision and engagement for youth referred for disciplinary interventions. Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid while supporting students from urban and disadvantaged backgrounds. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent college hours, two years of relevant experience, and adherence to the defined degree equivalency formula for eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree
- Two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours)
- Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test
- Two (2) years of experience working with urban and/or disadvantaged youth
- Certification in CPR
- Certification in First Aid
