Job Summary
Assess students' health needs and provide routine nursing care throughout the school day for students with severe disabilities. Administer prescribed and emergency medications, deliver first aid for illnesses, injuries, and seizures, and coordinate specialized healthcare procedures for complex medical needs. Develop and maintain Individualized Health Plans, monitor chronic conditions, and support requirements in IEPs and Section 504 Plans. Maintain accurate health records, conduct health screenings, and educate staff on medical protocols. Communicate with parents, providers, and the educational team. Requires active Missouri RN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and background checks. Contract from August 24, 2026, to June 18, 2027, at $45/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Must pass Family Care Safety Registry and FBI fingerprint background checks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within an educational team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric, school, or developmental-disability experience
