Job Summary
Assess students' health needs and provide routine nursing care throughout the school day for students with severe disabilities. Administer prescribed and emergency medications, deliver first aid for illnesses and injuries, and coordinate specialized healthcare procedures. Develop and maintain Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and emergency healthcare plans while monitoring students with chronic conditions. Conduct health screenings, infection control, and communicable disease prevention, and educate staff on medical needs and safety practices. Maintain accurate, confidential health records and communicate daily with parents, providers, and the educational team. This contract role begins August 24, 2026, at Adelphi in Hannibal, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri LPN license in good standing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Must pass Family Care Safety Registry and FBI fingerprint background checks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within an educational team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric, school, or developmental-disability experience
