Job Summary
In-Room Dining Server delivers food and beverage orders to guest rooms per hotel standards, stocks and maintains in-room refreshment center items, and assists in maintaining the In-Room Dining area and equipment. Responsibilities include delivering courteous, elevated service; knowing menu items, wine and glassware details; handling POS transactions and cash accurately; ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to liquor regulations and safety guidelines; and supporting overall hotel service excellence. Requires familiarity with hotel services, ability to respond to guest inquiries, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays. Must be 21+, with at least two years of relevant hotel/restaurant experience and TIPS certification within 30 days of hire; MICROS POS experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant
- TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Previous experience with MICROS POS preferred
