Job Summary
Deliver professional, friendly in-room dining service while assisting guests with menu inquiries and interacting across various venues. Manage beverage lists, promotions, and food preparation methods while adhering to safety, sanitation, and cash handling policies. Provide consistent, engaging service to guests during early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts, including periodic evening coverage. Maintain full knowledge of menu contents and preparation methods while resolving guest concerns and working cohesively under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Full professional working proficiency in spoken English required, both verbal and non-verbal
- Computer literacy required for all new and ongoing training programs conducted virtually
- Food handler & TABC certifications required
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to multi task and work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- Constant standing and walking
- Exert physical effort in carrying items (up to 40 pounds)
- Frequent lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- Shifts include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- May have to work evening shifts periodically
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as server in luxury setting an asset
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
- Proven ability to resolve guest concerns
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervision
