Job Summary
Provide in-room dining service to hotel guests by delivering food and beverage orders and setting up VIP amenities in accordance with Marriott standards. Maintain sanitation through floor sweeps and tray retrieval, service hospitality suites per Banquet Event Orders, complete shift-side work, respond to guest needs and issues to ensure quality experiences, and handle cash in line with company policies. Demonstrates guest-focused service, strong communication, and ability to lift and transport trays; prior hotel/room-service experience preferred. Must be able to set up and deliver orders, assist with VIP amenities, and support related duties while maintaining attendance and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel experience preferred
- Ability to communicate well with guests
- Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs., at a continuous schedule with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Adapt communication style to suit different audiences
