Job Summary
Answer room service orders over the phone, answer questions on menu selections, and check with kitchen staff. Address guest inquiries regarding wine origin, vintage, and style, then place and log callbacks for orders. Notify guests and management of service delivery delays. Coordinate all service requirements to ensure immediate action and report cleanliness or maintenance issues to the supervisor. Attend regular training sessions on guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, and telephone manners. Upsell at every opportunity and familiarize yourself with internal policies and safety procedures. Work overnight schedules including weekends and holidays, remaining flexible for other areas and shifts as directed by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role in a five-star hotel industry
- Must be able to work overnight schedule, including weekends, holidays
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and both AM and PM shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in In-Room Dining/Room Service preferred
