Job Summary
Answer in-room dining calls promptly and courteously, taking and accurately recording guest food and beverage orders. Confirm room numbers, menu selections, and special requests while explaining ingredients and available options. Enter orders accurately into the POS system, communicating dietary requirements and allergies to the kitchen team. Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely delivery, follow up on orders, and handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally. Promote additional items and maintain precise order records while adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Requires previous hotel F&B experience, excellent telephone communication skills, and ability to work flexible shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in in-room dining, room service, food and beverage or a similar hotel role
- Good knowledge of food and beverage products and service standards
- Excellent verbal and telephone communication skills
- Good English communication skills
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays
