In Room Dining - Minibar Attendant

Job Summary
Collect in-house guest and arrival lists, record mini-bar usage for billing accuracy, and restock all mini-bar items before and during guest stays. Ensure in-room service ware meets standards, maintain clean and stocked minibars, and consistently offer professional, friendly service while following outlet policies and safety protocols. Handle food and beverage handling in compliance with sanitation policies. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring constant standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs, often ascending ladders or stairs. Report to the In Room Dining Manager at Fairmont Austin, Austin's largest luxury property.
Required Qualifications
- Previous service experience
- Previous Point of Sale System experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow Colleagues without constant supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
