Required Qualifications

  • Prior cashier experience
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
  • Basic knowledge of wine, beer, liquors, waters, and drinks served
  • Ability to interact with guests verbally and face-to-face and via telephone
  • Proficiency with telephone and POS systems
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Willingness to learn and use POS and other computer systems used at the hotel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional demeanor
  • Customer service orientation with ability to handle multiple guests
  • Completes required training as scheduled
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Knowledge of safety rules and ability to read and interpret safety procedures
  • TIPS certification as scheduled upon employment
  • Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Driver's license in good standing if required to drive golf cart for deliveries
  • English literacy (spoken, read, write)
  • Ability to work varying schedules including holidays and weekends
